The Major Force Lacrosse staff is comprised of coaches, players and parents that share a deep passion, understanding and love for the game of girls lacrosse.
Lisa Mitchelides started Major Force Lacrosse, formerly Midwestern Force Lacrosse, over 10 years ago with the goal of providing girls lacrosse players of all ages with better training, experience and opportunities to play at the next level. Prior to starting Major Force Lacrosse, Lisa served as the Director of X-TEAM, a national girls lacrosse club led by Crista Samaras who was a former member of the USA Womens Lacrosse Team. Throughout her career, Lisa has helped over 600 girls lacrosse players transition on to play at the collegiate level. Lisa’s daughter Ashley, is a club alumni and went on to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Connecticut.
Rachel is the Head Coach for John Carroll University and played at St. Bonaventure University. In addition to coaching, Rachel is committed to the development of the sport in a number of ways. She was the IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association) Nominating Chair from December 2013 until June 2016, and has recently moved into the role of IWLCA Secretary. She is also a 2012 NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy graduate. Rachel will also serve as the MFL Head Coach for Northeast, Ohio.
Elbert has been involved with MFL for over 7 years and was the former Regional Coordinator for Northeast of Ohio. Both of his daughters are MFL alumni and current college lacrosse players.
Morgan is the current Head Coach at Columbus Academy varsity girls lacrosse program. She is the former Assistant Heach Coach at Kent State University and a Volunteer Assistant at Ohio State University where she was a player. Morgan is a former alumni of MFL.
Mary brings an extensive background in coaching girls lacrosse both at the Middle and High School programs in New Albany, Ohio. She has been a member of the MFL staff for over 12 years and is the current Head Coach for the Columbus Academy JV girls lacrosse team.
Sara brings over 8 years of D1 coaching experience as an Assistant Head Coach at the University of Findlay, Mercer University and most recently Furman University. She is now the Head Coach for the Mount Notre Dame High School girls varsity lacrosse program. Sara played High Point University and is a former MFL alumni.
“Biz” is the Head Coach at Springboro High School in the Cincinnati area. She played at Mount Notre Dame High School and then went on to play at Marquette University. Following her collegiate playing career, she stayed on board and was Assistant Head Coach at Marquette University.
Amy brings years of experience in the area of logistics and operations. She is responsible for organizing and collecting player data along with helping to coordinate club activities. Amy and her husband Doug are the parents of Parker Cribbs, Class of 2024.
Robbin has been on the MFL staff for several years first as an Assistant Regional Coordinator and now in her current role. She has generously volunteered her time and efforts in the promotion of women’s lacrosse in the Atlanta area including Roswell High School where her daughter Maragaret attends school and plays on the varsity team. Margaret is a current MFL player in the Class of 2022 who will be attending and playing lacrosse at Coastal Carolina University.
Brad lives in Fishers, Indiana, with his wife and 2 daughters both Major Force Lacrosse players (2023 & 2029). Brad has had the opportunity to coach and serve on lacrosse boards at the youth, travel, and high school level. Brad is currently on the coaching staff for girls lacrosse at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana.
Sarah brings over 5 years of Division One college coaching experience and an extensive network of college coach relationships. She played 4 years at John Hopkins University where she was team captain and Defensive Player of the Year. Sarah will be directly involved in all phases of the recruiting process for the Major Force players who would like to play at the collegiate level. She will be supported by the current college coaches with the athletes as well as the former recruiting staff of Major Force Lacrosse. Sarah Lives in Baltimore with her husband and three children.
