The Major Force Lacrosse staff is comprised of coaches, players and parents that share a deep passion, understanding and love for the game of girls lacrosse.
Lisa Mitchelides started Major Force Lacrosse, formerly Midwestern Force Lacrosse, over 10 years ago with the goal of providing girls lacrosse players of all ages with better training, experience and opportunities to play at the next level. Prior to starting Major Force Lacrosse, Lisa served as the Director of X-TEAM, a national girls lacrosse club led by Crista Samaras who was a former member of the USA Womens Lacrosse Team. Throughout her career, Lisa has helped over 600 girls lacrosse players transition on to play at the collegiate level. Lisa’s daughter Ashley, is a club alumni and went on to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Connecticut.
Elbert has four years experience coordinating for Major Force Lacrosse and currently serves as the Assistant Coach for girls lacrosse at Hoover High School in Ohio. Elbert’s two daughters are current players for Major Force Lacrosse.
Mary Fee brings over 10 years experience of coaching girls lacrosse in Ohio to Major Force Lacrosse. Currently, Mary serves as the Head Coach for girls lacrosse at New Albany Middle School in Ohio. Mary’s daughter is Major Force Lacrosse alumni and went on to play Division I lacrosse at the Ohio State University.
Christy Nee brings over 10 years experience of coaching girls lacrosse in the Atlanta area to Major Force Lacrosse. Currently, she coaches the Jr Titan team for Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Atlanta. Previously, Christy coached both girls and boys through Roswell Recreation, and was the 2016 award recipient of the Positive Coaching award. Christy played both field hockey and lacrosse at Boston College. Her daughter is a current player for Major Force Lacrosse.
Kathy has over 10 years experience with Major Force Lacrosse serving as the Travel Coordinator along with various administrative roles. Kathy has two daughters who are alumni of the Major Force Lacrosse of which Kelly went on to play Division I lacrosse at John Hopkins University.
